IV Table

The Strike and level columns cannot be modified. Any changes need to be made using the field boxes. There are many different ways to modify and change the Volatility factors. Each strike price can have an individual implied volatility entered. To modify a strike, click on the cell and enter the appropriate values. The values entered can be the actual volatility or an increment value + or - from the ATM implied volatility.

When the Relative to ATM Vol is not turned on in the Edit menu, the values set are the actual values used. When Relative to ATM is on, the values entered are increased or decreased from the implied volatility set for the ATM. Strikes that have Missing Values can been interpolated or repeated. The entered value is either interpolated or repeated from the last strike value. Using the missing value function can help speed up the creation of an implied volatility table. By entering a few strategically placed Volatility entries and then selecting to interpolate or repeat missing values, a volatility table can be created with just a few clicks of the mouse.
