Page Directory

Page directory is the area where the trader or portfolio manager opens and sets up different Directories and Accounts (i.e. master pages, what-if pages and include pages). For companies with multiple traders that are supervised by managers or senior traders, these directories can be structured with security features so that senior trader might be able to view all trades maintained by the system, while a junior trader would be restricted to viewing only his own individual account.

The Orion Strategist Account Page also tracks the performance of trading strategies. This page allows complete control of all accounts and portfolios so that a trader can quickly hedge, according to market behavior.

Master page - is used to maintain all of the traders' real positions. The trades in a master account will maintain a log in the audit trail for any trade that is added, deleted, modified, settled, abandoned or exercised and any journal entries. When accounts are imported they are imported as Master pages only.

What-if Page - is used to play with positions, to generate ideas or create quote type pages in Strategist. There is no audit trail associated with these trades.

Include pages - allow the trader to take multiple portfolios and bring them together into a single include page in order to provide a broader view of the risk across multiple portfolios.
